Vanilla flavored whiskey usually plays it sweet and safe. Revel Stoke's Smokescreen throws a curveball, layering ribbons of woodsmoke through that vanilla-bean sweetness. Bottled by Ed Phillips & Sons in Princeton, Minnesota, it opens with brown sugar and smoky vanilla on the nose, then rolls out fresh, creamy vanilla before a mild campfire smoke drifts in and fades smooth. At 35% ABV, it's easygoing over ice, or poured long with root beer or ginger ale for a grown-up float.
Tasting notes
Aromas of brown sugar and smoky vanilla. The taste starts with a fresh vanilla bean flavor, a mild smoke infuses and then the whisky finishes smooth. Great with Root Beer and Ginger Ale!
