Psagot - Merlot Dry Red Wine

Psagot Winery, although only just over a decade old, is dedicated to sharing the ancient history of winemaking in Jerusalem. Their ideal location at the highest point of the limestone-filled Judean Hills allows them to create traditionally styled wines. This fruit-forward Merlot offers a complexity of aromas, from red raspberry fruits to black licorice, supported nicely by flavors of red berry, minerals, and hints of dark chocolate and cedar spice. This is a generous wine that is ideally enjoyed with a myriad of dishes, like baba ganoush.
