Tipsy Sauce - Caramel Hard Sauce
Crossborder Jackpot is a combination of Canadian whiskey, Canadian rye, and American rye sourced, blended, finished, and bottled in Bardstown, KY, by Proof and Wood.Aged 7 years in new, charred oak. Bold, herbaceous American rye is tempered by the delicate spice of Canadian rye bonded with lightly sweet, blended Canadian whiskey, creating a unique, yet easy-drinking dram
Tasting notes
Nose: Vanilla, toasted oak, mint, and cinnamon
Palate: The texture was incredibly silky, but it was weighty at the same time, vanilla, caramel, and red currant. The back doubled down on spice with rye, cinnamon, clove, sweet corn, nutmeg, and oak.
Finish: Vanilla, toasted oak, cinnamon Red Hots, and an herbal flavor played the last hand.
