Pommery has quite a resume — this is the Reims house whose founder, Louise Pommery, is credited with creating the original dry "Brut" style back in 1874. The rosé take on that legacy blends chardonnay, pinot noir, and pinot meunier from roughly forty crus, aged about three years in Pommery's cellars. Expect pale salmon color, fine bubbles, and a bright mix of red berries, cherry, and citrus with a clean finish. Serve chilled as an aperitif, or alongside shellfish or a red-fruit dessert.
