Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque Rosé is the maison's vintage rosé Champagne, first crafted in 1978 and made only in exceptional years from Grand Cru fruit around Épernay. The blend leans on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with a touch of Meunier, and gets its pale salmon hue from a small addition of still Pinot Noir wine macerated on its skins. Expect strawberry and peony aromatics, a kumquat-and-white-currant edge, then pink grapefruit, mandarin, and brioche on the palate. Pour it slowly in a white wine glass alongside seared scallops or a berry tart.
