Penderyn Sherrywood is a single malt Welsh whisky from the Penderyn Distillery in Wales, distilled through the brand's distinctive single copper Faraday still before resting in ex-bourbon barrels and finishing in ex-Oloroso sherry casks. That sherry-cask time builds a nose of dark fruit and rich toffee threaded with green apple and hazelnut, opening into a rounded sweetness that turns dry on the palate, with toffee and sultana carrying through a long finish. Pour it neat after dinner alongside dark chocolate or aged cheddar to let the fruit and oak spice unfold.
