Overview

More Info

Pasión Añejo starts in Arandas, Jalisco — the mineral-rich, red-soil heart of tequila's Highlands — where blue agave is double-distilled in copper stills, rested six months, then aged two full years in French oak. That time gives the spirit its ochre hue and a layered profile of vanilla, caramel, and toasted nuts over fresh agave and a whisper of anise. Sip it neat, or over one big rock, to let those layers unfold slowly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ 4/5 AI Rating

Reviewers on Tequila.net and The Tequila Tourist praise Casta Pasion Anejo as a unique 100% agave anejo aged 1+ year in new white oak — pronounced oak, sweet spice, citrus, and bold black pepper. Reviewers call it well-balanced and distinctive for the category, retaining blanco-like spice notes.
