Before there was a town, there was a distillery: Oban was built in 1794 on Scotland's rugged west coast, and the harbor village grew up around it. Two of the smallest pot stills in Scotland turn out a malt aged 14 years in oak, landing between smoky island whiskies and sweeter Highland ones — orchard fruit and honeyed malt up front, a whisper of sea-salt smoke lingering after. Pour neat and let the coastal air do the talking.
Tasting notes
