Oban 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky comes from one of Scotland's smallest working distilleries, tucked into the Highland coastal town of Oban since 1794, just steps from the harbor. Its diminutive stills and traditional worm-tub condensers shape a whisky that bridges Highland and Island character: rich peat smoke and spicy wood open the nose, layered with ripe banana, pear, and plum, while the palate turns mouth-filling and sea-salted before a long finish of dark chocolate and salted caramel. Pour it neat after dinner, or alongside aged cheddar and dark chocolate to echo those same notes.
