Nulu - French Oak Toasted Small Batch Bourbon
Every spirit created by Prohibition Craft Spirits is hand-tended with meticulous attention to detail in small batches of 53 gallons. It allows them to bring out the desired flavors, cut out batch multiple times, and make changes as necessary to aspire to near-perfection. This release is initially aged in American oak alone, before going through a finishing process involving French oak staves of various toast levels for a period of weeks to months, depending on the staves. Nose: After a fresh crack, this bottle starts with a nose that explodes with oak, grain, cornmeal. Big notes of marshmallow, cherrywood, and hot cocoa.
Palate: Similar to the nose, the first sip bursts with grain flavor with a dollop of wood that leaves a drying sensation on the palate. It then moves to warm vanillas, barrel char, and cinnamon sticks.
Finish: Long spicy finish with more waves of Red Hots and cinnamon sticks before moving to powdered baking spices and more wood. The finish clings to the mouth
