Barrel aging and mountain origins make this white rum a rare find. We love the notes of biscotti, cream soda, cardamom, coffee, vanilla and pepper, and it’s our first pick for daiquiris, mojitos and light, refreshing cocktails.Others seem to agree: the Platino has won a Double Gold, 9 gold medals and 2 best in class designations, including "Best White Rum" at the World Rum Awards in 2015.Platino ages one year in American White Oak barrels that previously held Laws Colorado Whiskey and Montanya Oro. Before bottling, a pine-based lenticular filter removes color. As of Summer 2021, caramelized honey is no longer added to Platino, and it never receives added sugar or artificial additives of any kind.
