Mezcal Vago's Madrecuishe comes from Emigdio Jarquin, a master distiller working out of El Nanche in Miahuatlan, Oaxaca. Made from cultivated agave karwinskii that takes 12 to 16 years to mature, it's crushed by tahona, fermented in wood vats, and double-distilled through a copper still with a refrescador for extra depth. Expect a dense, rich pour layered with peanut, herbs, lemon peel, eucalyptus, and stony minerality. Sip it neat to explore its complexity, or pour for guests who want mezcal with real provenance behind it.
