Meet a mezcal that trades the usual heavy smoke for something greener and brighter. Made from Agave salmiana (Maguey Verde) grown across the high Altiplano of San Luis Potosi, it's distilled at Hacienda Santa Isabel by second-generation mezcalero Juan Jose "Che" Hernandez. Expect aromas of fresh herbs, bell pepper and jalapeno, then a palate that's lightly sweet with mineral depth and just a whisper of smoke. Bottled at 45.1% ABV. Sip it neat, or let it lift a bright cocktail.
