Tipsy Sauce - Caramel Hard Sauce
From Midleton's experimental line, this single pot still whiskey pushes past oak entirely: after resting in ex-bourbon and ex-oloroso sherry casks, it finishes in French chestnut wood sourced from the Isère region — the kind of detour master distillers rarely take. Expect red licorice and fresh rosemary on the nose, cinnamon toast and ripe banana on the palate, and a green tea finish that lingers into rich wood. Sip it neat after dinner, or alongside a spiced dessert built for its unconventional character.
