Overview

The Macallan Classic Cut - 2025 Edition has been bottled at 50.6% and features notes of grapefruit, panna cotta and apple.

A multisensory myriad of dynamic and evolving flavours are unveiled with the addition of water, revealing new depths of character. This whisky is anything but classic.

Matured in sherry seasoned European and American oak, and ex-Bourbon casks, this exceptional single malt delivers a rich, layered profile. It has been bottled at the whisky maker’s preferred strength of 50.6% to reveal a unique character and flavour.

At full strength, the whisky reveals a prominence of velvety milk chocolate and orange zest. When water is added, reducing it to 40%, bright notes of grapefruit and creamy vanilla panna cotta emerge.

A further cut of water, reducing the strength to 20%, unveils a fresh, warming finish of apple and lemon zest.
