Overview

The Macallan Sherry Oak 30 Years Old forms part of our Sherry Oak range which features a series of single malt whiskies matured in hand-picked sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez for richness and complexity. Deliciously smooth with a long, rich finish, the natural dark mahogany colour of the 30 Years Old is the richest in the range.

The Sherry Oak Collection is a timeless sensorial journey. Beautifully led by European Oak, sherry seasoned in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. Photographer Erik Madigan Heck has presented his visual interpretation of Sherry Oak 30 Years Old, capturing the flavour notes of honeyed figs, chocolate orange and a subtle hint of cinnamon.

The soft focus alludes to the beautifully long and rich finish of the whisky, with warm tones of amber and mahogany representing the hue of the whisky itself.

Reviewers on Whiskybase, Whisky Advocate and Reddit hail Macallan 30 Sherry Oak 2024 as the richest in the range — mahogany pour with macadamia, vanilla, sandalwood, black cherry, chocolate orange and honeyed figs. Oily, mouth-coating and luxuriously long, fans call it a benchmark sherried Speyside dram.
