Fifteen years of building and elevating a category from the ground up is no small task. It has taken countless hands, shared trust, patience, and an unwavering love for the land where we work. This 1,500-litre batch celebrates our fifteenth anniversary as a project; a milestone shaped by community, collaboration, and cultural stewardship.
Sinergia brings together lechuguilla, amarillo, chico aguiar, cenizo gigante, bruto, masparillo, cimarrón, and lineño magueyes, each representing a region, a maestro, and a family whose traditions we are honoured to share with the world. This Ensamble is more than a blend; it is a map of Jalisco’s landscapes, a tribute to its people, and a testament to the bioculture that has guided us for a decade and a half.
This Ensamble is the result of every family and every region that forms the La Venenosa project. We combined selected volumes from each expression, searching for a balance that allowed every component to shine while creating something entirely new.
Once the ideal harmony was found, the blend was diluted with water to preserve structure, then re‑distilled as a unified batch. The result is 1,500 litres at 47.6% ABV, a spirit that captures the synergy of fifteen years working alongside Jalisco’s biocultural heritage; a convergence of terroirs, techniques, and traditions distilled into a single, celebratory expression.
Smells Like: Fresh mountain herbs, wrapped in a soft glow of brown butter warmth, lifted by a clean, dry mineral edge that speaks to the diverse terroirs in the Ensamble. A layered aromatic profile where herbal brightness, nutty richness, and stony earthiness meet in a calm but powerful harmony.
Tastes Like: Cooked agave at the core, intertwined with wild herbs and a pungent mid‑palate note that reveals the rustic soul of the ancestral stills. A funky, velvety texture carries the spirit through the finish. equal parts earthy, savoury, yet elegantly untamed.
