Kula Organic Rum comes from Ocean Organic Farm & Distillery in Kula, on the slopes of Maui's Haleakalā, Hawaii. Distillers ferment and distill USDA Certified Organic sugarcane, then cut it with deep ocean mineral water drawn from roughly 3,000 feet off the Maui coast, filtered naturally through volcanic strata. The result pours clean and tropical, with soft molasses on the nose, gentle cane-sugar sweetness and coconut-vanilla notes on the palate, and a crisp, mineral-tinged finish. Its light body makes it a natural fit for a mojito or a simple rum-and-soda over ice.
