Kooper Family blends rather than distills, out of a small house in Fayette County, Texas. Barrel Reserve is their rye left uncut and unfiltered at barrel strength, two mash bills married together, one 51% rye with corn and malt, the other 95% rye. Raisin and cherry, then anise, tobacco and black pepper.
