Clocking in at 126-133 proof depending on the batch, Kings County Barrel Strength Bourbon is blended from older barrels than our flagship bourbon, aged anywhere from four to seven years. Many enthusiasts prefer whiskey undiluted from the barrel, as it offers a more intense concentration of flavor. Bold and complex, this is our most consistently acclaimed limited-release offering. Among many awards, Breaking Bourbon listed it as a “Best Craft Whiskey” of 2020.
Tasting notes
A house-classic nose of blackberry compote, cooked date, and mahogany leads into a palate full of dark fruit, sandalwood, and leather, with a robust finish of deep char balances nicely against the initial sweetness of the sip.
