Our custom designed wave barrel creates an innovative and unique environment to finish our fully mature, Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The proprietary, flash-charred, toasted grooved-staves increase the surface area of the barrel allowing more bourbon to come in contact with the oak. The result is a seasoned, double barrel whiskey that is both smooth and well-balanced.
Nose: The aroma is thick with wood — as you might expect — and notes of vanilla and butterscotch over cinnamon apple tart
Flavor: On the tongue you’ll find classic baking spices up front followed by notes of roasted almonds, sweet bell pepper, fresh wood, and a hint of apple
Finish: The finish is medium length with a lingering spice
