Hacienda De Chihuahua Sotol Añejo is a wood-aged sotol from Chihuahua, Mexico, distilled from wild-harvested dasylirion — a desert succulent unique to the region and unrelated to agave. The plant's hearts are steam-cooked in masonry ovens, fermented, and double-distilled in a column still before resting in French oak, which layers in vanilla and dried-fruit sweetness over the spirit's natural herbal, earthy backbone. The result sips smooth and complex, equally at home neat, over a single rock, or in a barrel-aged Old Fashioned riff.
