Glenfarclas 17 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky comes from one of Speyside's last family-owned distilleries — the Grant family has run Glenfarclas since 1865 and still fills every cask with Oloroso sherry shipped over from Spain, a tradition the distillery committed to back in the 1950s. Seventeen years in those sherry casks builds a deep gold color and a nose of dried fruit, honeyed malt, and light spice, with cinnamon and toffee carrying into the finish. Pour it neat after dinner, or alongside dark chocolate and roasted nuts.
Tasting notes

Nose: Complex and sophisticated, notes of buttery toffee, malt sherried peels, dates and even a hint of peat!

Palate: Full-bodied and rich, it fills and coats the palate with warming nutmeg, sherried fruits, cinnamon and mixed peels.

Finish: Long, spicy and sweet with just a hint of smoke on the tail.
