Galil Mountain Winery's Yiron Syrah is a 100% Syrah grown in Israel's Upper Galilee, one of the region's highest and coolest vineyard zones. Grapes ferment around 30°C with two to three weeks on the skins, then age 16 months in French oak, a process that builds the wine's velvety texture and deep purple color. Expect layers of wild blackberry, purple plum, and cracked black pepper, backed by firm tannins and bright acidity. Pour it alongside grilled lamb, smoky brisket, or hard aged cheeses.
