Named for the version of a film that best reflects its maker's vision, Director's Cut Zinfandel is Coppola's own take on Sonoma's Dry Creek Valley character — a blend led by Zinfandel with Petit Verdot and Petite Sirah. Fourteen months in barrel, part new French and American oak, builds structure around baking-spice and black fig aromas, with plum, blackberry, and wild-berry-jam flavors edged in caramel.
