Fortaleza - Reposado Tequila Winter Blend 2025
Every year, Tequila Fortaleza pushes the boundaries of tradition with their limited "Winter Blend." The 2025 Edition is a masterpiece of complexity, bridging the gap between old-world agave production and innovative barrel aging. For the 2025 release, Fortaleza has utilized a sophisticated multi-cask blending approach, combining their world-class reposado with components matured in ex-American whiskey barrels and specialty fortified wine casks (including Madeira influence).
Nose: Expressive aromas of deeply cooked agave and tropical citrus, layered with vanilla bean, warm baking spices, and a sophisticated hint of dried fruit from the wine-cask influence.
Palate: Rich and buttery on the tongue. You’ll find a harmonious balance of roasted agave, salted caramel, toasted oak, and a unique minerality that is the signature of the Tequila Valley.
