Overview

Evan Williams Bourbon Honey Reserve blends Heaven Hill's Kentucky Straight Bourbon with real, natural honey, distilled and bottled at the historic Bardstown, Kentucky distillery under the Evan Williams name. Expect a pale golden pour with a citrus-and-honey nose, then a palate of sweet honey and allspice, warm vanilla, and a whisper of smoke before the bourbon reasserts itself on a long, spiced finish. It's built for easy sipping over ice or shaken into a spiked iced tea for a Kentucky-honey twist on a summer classic.

This is the ideal beverage during the winter.

"To prepare Hot Toddies, I particularly used Evan Williams honey. Boiling water, a little honey, a little lemon juice, and a ton of rich Evan Williams Honey. This whiskey is ideal for adding that extra amount of sweetness to the winter beverage. Without a doubt, I'd buy it again!"

The best of the best

"The quality of Evan Williams bourbon is combined with just a hint of honey in true Evan Williams way, without adding any sharp or stinging flavors. Evan Williams has stepped up and taken the top spot with this delectable blend if you remember Wild Turkey Honey before they upset the balance and called it "American Honey. " It will not dissapoint if sipped neat."

— OBi. B. (5/5)

With two thumbs up

"I tried this at a friend's place on Saturday morning even though I detest coffee and often just drink vodka. - and I have to admit, I'm a fan. I've tried a couple others, but this is my favorite, and the price is just the icing on the cake. I apologize; I just went for the easy targets."

Not Much Honey, But It's Good

""This is one of several alcoholic beverages that would experience a decline in sales if it were ever required to publish a list of ingredients since high fructose corn syrup would unquestionably rank much higher than honey. Sweetness has to be your thing, but if you're reading a review of a "honey" liqueur, I'm sure it is, but nevertheless, a breath of honey, a boatload of corn syrup, and what I'm convinced is a big dosage of glycerin makes for an exceptionally smooth and delightful liqueur. ""

From beginning to end, this has a deep, complex flavor.

"This is packed throughout with a rich flavor. smells nice and citrusy. taste like honey-topped citrus. really fluid You can sip this neat, on the rocks, or combined with lemonade. unlike some of the other types of Tennessee honey, not overly sweet. pleasant and unique Not in the least bit intrusive!"

Risky for your addiction

"This will take off like a saucepan of neck bones when added to some sweet tea. bourbon-like aroma with a faint citrus undertone. It will surprise you when it touches your tongue. With a tinge of whiskey, it is smooth, rich, and tastes like honey. Has an oily, semi-syrupy texture, yet it still tastes great. Absolutely worth the $20; I'll be buying a 1. 75l to keep on hand at my bar."

Caddy versus Chevy

"Grand Marnier appeals to me. But the price is too steep for frequent sipping. Bourbon with flavors tends to level the playing field in terms of quality. similar to adding fine bourbon to Coca-Cola. Evan William's is a high-quality, delicious bourbon that has been enhanced with honey's sweetness. This beats Jack Daniel's Honey in my opinion. It's not always necessary to spend a lot of money to be good. Give this flavored bourbon a try. It'll satiate. Otherwise, you have not deflated Ft. Knox."

— Vincent (5/5)

An Excellent After-Dinner Treat.

"I assumed all "Honey" whiskeys were roughly the same until I purchased this. I was mistaken; this one is superior to the rest. It has the pleasant honey flavor we enjoy as well as a faint citrus flavor that blends in well with the other flavors. It is very sweet, perhaps a little too sweet for my tastes, but I discovered that blending it half-and-half with Evan Williams 100 proof BiB bourbon makes it just right for me; it retains all the citrus and honey flavors while being less sweet, and it raises the proof to about 85, which I find to be a much nicer sipper. I'll keep purchasing this honey-flavored Evan Williams and diluting it with Evan Williams bourbon that is 100 %."

— Valentine-Rich (5/5)

It's excessively syrupy and sweet.

"I once adored Evan Williams Honey, but it appears that the ABV was reduced from 35% to 32. 5%. Now it's just too syrupy and sugary. Oh well. Yet another terrible cost-cutting casualty is Evan Williams Honey."

— KiannaBaby! (2/5)

Won't let you down!

""I'm not typically a fan of bourbon, but this is one of the smoothest cocktails I've ever tasted. The colder, the better. I've just used it for shots. Please try; you won't be disappointed."
