El Cristiano Reposado Tequila is crafted at Casa Tequilera de Arandas (NOM 1499) in the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, from blue agave grown in the region's red clay soil. The silver batch rests six months in American oak, picking up creamy vanilla and dried tropical fruit on the nose before settling into a palate of cooked agave sweetness, anise, and roasted pepper, finishing dry and medium-bodied. Highland tequila with real oak influence — pour it neat, on the rocks, or into a smoky Oaxacan Old Fashioned.
