Tipsy Sauce - Chocolate Hard Sauce
Du Nord Social Spirits crafts Cafe Frieda Coffee Liqueur in Minneapolis, Minnesota, steeping locally roasted cold brew beans that are sourced fairly and organically, then bike-delivered straight to the distillery. The result: roasted, nutty aromas opening into coffee and dark chocolate on the palate, with chicory adding a peppery, spicy finish and quiet hints of stone fruit underneath. Named for a beloved Minneapolis teacher, it's built for sipping straight or on the rocks, and works just as well shaken into an espresso martini or paired with dessert.
Tasting notes
Coffee: Roasted and nutty aromas give way to coffee and dark chocolate on the palate.
Chicory: Peppery and spicy notes fill the end of each sip.
Stone Fruit: Hints of orange, plum and raisin sneak through both palate and aroma.
