Scallywag gets its name from Douglas Laing's family line of scrappy Fox Terriers — a fitting mascot for a blend built with real character. This Speyside blended malt marries aged single malts (think Mortlach, Macallan, Glenrothes) matured mostly in Spanish sherry casks, non-chill-filtered at 46% ABV. Expect a wave of dark fruit, chocolate, and spice with vanilla trailing behind. Pour it neat after dinner, or over one big ice cube to slow it down.
