Distilled at the historic Deanston Distillery—an iconic former cotton mill sitting on the banks of the River Teith—this well-aged single malt reflects thirty years of gentle cask maturation, yielding a velvety, highly complex dram defined by soft wax, dark honey, and rich oak structure.
Nose: Elegant, deep, and aromatic. Opens with antique oak, beeswax, and rich heather honey, followed by dried apricots, orange marmalade, dark cocoa, and polished mahogany.
Palate: Silky, mouth-coating, and refined. Layers of cooked orchard fruits, golden syrup, and toasted walnuts balance against rich vanillin, subtle leather, and warm baking spices.
Finish: Exceptionally long, warm, and sophisticated. Fades gracefully with lingering notes of sweet malt, subtle waxy citrus, and gentle, aged oak spice.
