A sherried 12 year old single malt from Diageo's Classic Malts range, this bottling from the Cragganmore distillery represents Speyside and proffers a rich, slightly floral whisky with barley notes.
Tasting notes
Nose - An aromatic blast of citrus to begin with – orange and lemon oil – then soft aromas of toffee, roasted almonds and malted biscuits follow. Very clean and appetising, with a gentle floral character.
Palate - The fresh citrus notes continue on to the palate, joined by sweet toffee, malt and oat biscuits. Very clean and refreshing.
Finish - The gentle maltiness fades lightly.
