The first whiskey to be distilled in Mayo in over 150 years! A small batch, 4-year-old single malt, the first to run off the stills at Connacht Distillery to be released, it was aged in ex-bourbon casks before being finished off in sherry casks.
Tasting notes
Aromas of raisins, dried fruit, honey, fudge, butterscotch, almond and star anise fill the nose, complemented by notes of vanilla, malt, dried fruit, baking spices, walnuts and honey throughout the palate.
