Named for the cherubic angels whispering above the altar in its estate chapel, Whispering Angel put Provence rosé on the map when Sacha Lichine relaunched Château d'Esclans in 2006. The blend of Grenache, Cinsault, and Rolle is fermented and aged in temperature-controlled stainless steel, keeping the fruit bright — fresh red berries and floral lift up front, full and lush on the palate, yet bone dry with a smooth, round finish. Serve well-chilled on a warm evening, no food required.
