Busnel Fine Calvados Pays d'Auge is an apple brandy from Normandy's Pays d'Auge appellation, made by Maison Busnel, a Calvados house operating in Cormeilles since 1820. This blend is aged a minimum of two years in oak barrels, giving it a luminous gold hue. Expect fresh, pure aromas of apple and pear on the nose, a supple palate layered with citrus and vanilla, and a long finish carrying light woody notes. Serve it neat as an aperitif or digestif, with a splash of water or ice, or shaken into an apple mojito.
