Burrito Fiestero's Masparillo Ancestral pours from a scarce maguey that grows untamed in the lowlands of El Mezquital, harvested and made in micro-batches by hand. The agave is crushed with axes and distilled the ancestral way, in a clay-and-wood viejo still, giving it a soft, almost creamy texture with gentle woody notes at 50.2% ABV. Fruity and easy to sip neat, it's one to pour slowly and share with the curious.
