Born in 2003 at a Lubbock, Texas music venue, where a chocolate habanero got left soaking in a bottle of vodka. Now made at Pinkerton Distillery, this corn-based vodka is distilled sixteen times, then blended with a fresh-pepper concentrate that leans on habaneros with a nod to ghost, scorpion, and reaper. The kick arrives on a delay, trailing sweet fruit and a slow, lingering finish. It's cloudy on purpose, so give the bottle a shake and pour a shot.
