"My preferred bourbon; I've been drinking Blanton's for more than 30 years. The best mint julep is what I make with it once a year during Derby season; don't knock it until you've tried it. I normally just drink it neat. All other people receive Buffalo Trace. Wish it wasn't so difficult to locate."

"This bourbon is still in my opinion one of the greatest. You should keep in mind that since there is only one barrel, there will always be variation among the bottles. I've never had a bottle, though, that I didn't like. But please remember that paying outrageous costs ($200 a bottle and up) above the markup I've observed at other nearby liquor stores are NOT worth it. If you ever come upon a bottle at MSRP, purchase it and take pleasure in it. But refrain from making any form of markup; it is not worthwhile."
