Bladnoch is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries, tucked into the quiet Lowlands, and Liora is its first single malt bottled at distiller's strength, a hearty 52.2%. The name traces to Hebrew for "the gift of light." Matured in bourbon and new oak casks, then left un-chill-filtered at natural colour, it leans into juicy fresh-cut apple, toasted caramel, and a floral lift, with peppery spice and fresh oak on the palate. Pour it neat, or add a splash of water to open up the fruit.

NOSE: Fresh cut apples, with toasted caramel and floral notes.
PALATE: Caramelised toffee apples with peppery spices and fresh cut oak.
FINISH: Long, with a slight warming dryness.
