Here's whiskey with a soundtrack: BLACKENED matures its barrels while Metallica plays, a sonic process the brand calls Black Noise, meant to pull more flavor from the wood. For this 2023 collaboration with Rabbit Hole's Kaveh Zamanian, a 13-year Tennessee bourbon and a high-rye Kentucky malt bourbon are blended, finished in Calvados apple-brandy casks, and bottled non-chill filtered at cask strength. Expect apple butter, honeysuckle, cinnamon and campfire smoke. Pour it neat and give it time.
