Tipsy Sauce - Caramel Hard Sauce
Black Velvet has been blending smooth Canadian whisky since 1951, and this bottling layers that easygoing base with warm caramel and toffee. Aged three years and bottled at 70 proof, it leans sweet and viscous, with vanilla up front and a whisper of cinnamon on the finish. The distillery pours it into cola for a Caramel Libre or folds it into a dessert-leaning mudslide. Neat, over ice, or stirred with apple cider or ginger ale, it's a cozy fireside sipper.
Tasting notes
Viscous and sweet, it mixes flavors of milky caramel, toasted oak and a sprinkle of cinnamon on the finish. Expect this bottling to inspire warming fireside cocktails-perhaps mixed with apple cider or ginger ale-or sweet dessert drinks
