A house cognac built for both sipping and mixing, this V.S.O.P. blends four crus — Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Fin Bois, and Bon Bois — matured at least four years in French oak. Expect warm amber color, a bouquet of dried apricot, honey, cinnamon, and rose petal, and a smooth palate that carries through to notes of pear, honeysuckle, citrus, and mango. Pour it neat after dinner to slow down and taste every layer, or let it anchor a Sidecar. Sip Something New from the Charente.
