Bin Nun Winery - Blue Note Dry Red Wine
Bin Nin Winery and vineyards are situated in the coastal plain of Judea, at the foothills of Tel Gezer. This wine-making area is well-known since biblical times and a characteristic terroir with very cold nights and hot days, promoting optimum ripening of quality grapes.
King Solomon’s wine-presses and vineyards were situated in this region. Our limited edition of red wine comprises of 80% Sangiovese, 13% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc. The grapes were specially selected and hand-picked to ensure the best quality wine. After long maceration and fer- mentation period, the wine was aged in French oak barrels for 15 months, which awards this wine its complexity and unique aroma.
Deep inky purple color. Violets, Kirsch, plums, smoke, earth, and pepper on the nose. On the palate it's juicy, yet concentrated. Powerful, yet elegant. Full body. Mouth coating, young tannins. Sore cherries, and blueberries acidity. Spicy, and dirt dry finish.
