Tipsy Sauce - Caramel Hard Sauce
Wheat whiskey rarely gets top billing, but this one keeps winning fights it shouldn't. BENDT Distilling Co. in Lewisville, Texas builds it grain-to-glass from local soft red winter wheat, Denton County corn, and Maris Otter malted barley, then ages it four-plus years in 53-gallon barrels through brutal Texas summers. Bottled-in-bond at 100 proof, it noses like fresh bread and pear, turns bakery-sweet on the palate with pretzel and summer fruit, and finishes on a hint of molasses. Pour it neat.
