Tipsy Sauce - Caramel Hard Sauce
Named for Colorado Springs' brutal Manitou Incline hiking trail, this rye doesn't ease in gently. Axe and the Oak builds it from a 95% rye mashbill, resting three years in #3 char barrels before bottling at a bold 98 proof. Expect rye bread and fresh-cut grass on the nose, baking spices threading through, then a palate of rich oak, cinnamon, sweet vanilla, and a black pepper kick on the finish. Pour it neat for sipping by the fire, or let a single rock slow it down.
