Overview

Alma del Jaguar® Barricas is a series showcasing the unique profiles created by different cask finishes. This rare expression was rested in wild-harvested pear wood casks from France. This is notable because almost all casks are made from a species of oak. This expression marries cooked agave with notes of sweet pear, spice, and earth.

Tipxy AI Overview

What people across the internet are saying
★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ 4/5 AI Rating

Reviewers highlight this as one of the most genuinely unusual cask finishes in tequila, as wild-harvested French pear wood is exceptionally rare—nearly unheard of outside of artisan cooperage. Enthusiasts describe the result as a delicate and earthy reposado with sweet pear, spice, and mineral character that sets it apart from any oak-finished expression. Fans of rare and experimental spirits regard this as a must-try for anyone serious about understanding the frontier of tequila craftsmanship.
