Alfred Giraud Heritage is a French malt whisky from a family with generations of Cognac cellar-mastering in its blood—cooper's sons who turned their oak expertise toward malt spirit. Three non-peated distillates mature separately in extra-old Cognac casks alongside new French Limousin and American oak, then marry together for a final rest in Cognac barrels. Expect brioche and toasted malt on the nose, vanilla and nutmeg on the palate, and a soft, spiced finish. Bottled unchill-filtered at 45.9% ABV—pour neat for sipping something genuinely new to the malt category.
