From the cognac country of France comes a whisky built like a story in three chapters: two non-peated malts aged separately in extra-old cognac casks and French Limousin oak, married together, then finished with a lightly peated malt in those same cognac barrels. Only seven casks are released each year, unfiltered and naturally colored. Expect raisin bread and baking spice on the nose, a silky palate of ripe grapes and warm spice, and a long finish touched by soft peat smoke. Pour it neat after dinner, cognac-glass in hand.
