Overview

More Info

Produced at the oldest distillery on the Isle of Skye, Talisker Storm Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been made by the sea since 1830, with its smell and taste instantly connecting you to its rugged maritime home. Every sip is a taste of the Isle of Skye itself, one of the most remote, rugged, yet elegant landscapes in Scotland. Talisker Storm is a dark, smoky, more brooding member of the Talisker family, with notes of wood, brine and spice that puts you right at the heart of a storm at sea. Matured in a higher proportion of toasted oak casks selected for their spiciness, the nose is powerful, fresh and grows in complexity like a gathering storm. This is followed by sweet maltiness while ripe red berry fruit move to smoke, brine and an explosion of pepper. Savour Talisker Storm's peppery sweet and salty flavours neat or draw them out with a little water.

What people across the internet are saying
★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ 4/5 AI Rating

Reviewers on Drinkhacker, Drink Spirits, and Bourbon Banter praise Talisker Storm's silky mouthfeel, peat, sea salt, chilli, and pepper - more-ish for a peated malt. Whisky Connosr fans like it, but several flag the premium pricing over Talisker 10 as 'a little hubristic.'

Will undoubtedly make another purchase with Tipxy.

"It was difficult to find a single malt scotch that my wife and I liked here in California, so I had been searching for a fair way to buy it. Therefore, I made the decision to attempt making a purchase with Tipxy, and everything went as well as I could have wanted. Will undoubtedly make another purchase from Tipxy."

I adore it because it is smokey, peaty, sweet, and not overly smokey.

"On our first trip to Scotland, I first heard of Talisker Storm. On the Isle of Skye, we went to the Talisker Distillery, and I was hooked. I adore it because it's peaty, sweet, and just the right amount of smoky. Which is terrible because it seems to be growing harder to find."

Mardoqueo S. (5/5)

Definitely one of my top 5 whiskies. Try it!

"The Talisker 10 has been upgraded to the Talisker Storm. I adore the smell of extra meat; it's slightly smoky and tasty! When compared to Lagavulin 16, this one was almost my favorite, but it is still in my top 5 scotches. Try it!"

Lemuel P. (5/5)

I genuinely love it.

"On the Isle of Skye, I've been to the distillery where this whiskey is produced. a difficult region in the world. I'm a big fan of this whiskey. Very smooth, but with unusual flavor undertones."

I'll continue to carry this in stock.
