the unique soil of Sicily. The result of that unique, distinctive flavor is a deliciously sweet and smooth almond liqueur. Almonds are one of the symbols of Sicily, and were considered sacred by many peoples in Antiquity.

Our history, the story of the Massa family, begins in 1890 with the creation of the home-made recipe that was the origin of our limoncello. Villa Massa bottles the excellence and freshness of Italy’s good food and drink, in a natural yet sophisticated way. In 2020, we created Villa Massa Amaretto, a delicious sweet liqueur made with top quality almonds from Sicily.
The warm weather Sicily enjoys year-round, together with its highly fertile volcanic soil, provide the perfect conditions for producing top quality almonds. Sicilian almonds are characterised by their thick, woody shell, which protects the kernel from rain, wind and cold, preserving the intense taste and aroma of this nut.
